My PC workstation here at work. Just wanted to share this. Hopefully it will be replaced with a new and with much higher specifications by December this year or January Next year. Hoping for the best. Here it is, low tech style.
It really took some time for me to let Cold Play’s X & Y album sink into me. As expected I only appreciated the last 2 albums after listening to it for a while. Maybe it’s their trademark. Not lot like other songs that really get your attention that fast. I just love the words of Chris Martin. The song “Fix you” caught my attention first. The fact that it has wonderful lyrics, (which I always look for in a song) the way it sounds, and the progression of the song adds’ up to the totality of it being a hit. The lyrics just hit me bulls’ eye and the music just makes it more believing that the words used in the lyrics really came from the heart. Now, I dosed my self listening to “fix you” again and again. Then I started picking up my guitar and started playing the song. In a matter of minutes I began playing the major chords of the song. That went on for almost a week as seen on my last blog about Cold Play. Then I started listening to other tracks of the album and noticed there is a hidden track included. Then it dawned on me how wonderful the X & Y album is. Really! Some songs included gives a makes-me-want-to-cry feeling and at the same time the feeling of failing and winning at the same time for after all these feeling just reminds us that we are just humans. We live; we die, but death does not end it because we leave our legacy behind. We laugh, we cry, we love, we hate, but its all part of being human, to be imperfect, to have defects. These imperfections gives spice in our very life. If we are born perfect, then there is no reason why we should stay in this imperfect world. Because the truth is, we need someone to balance these imperfections in one way or another. We look for this special entity that would balance our life. The one that will let us cry but then make us laugh, the one that let’s us know what is hate and love and its difference. The one that will make us know how it feels to be lonely but also knows how to give us serene happiness. Well that’s just me. I know reaching this part is quiet difficult for you. Am I being boring? Boring or not boring, I guess it’s part of my imperfection in writing this entry. So here is another line from Cold Plays “What if” from X & Y album:
Finally I got a hold on this album yesterday. I was suppose to put links and pictures of my last trip with my officemates in laguna here, but I'm so much in a hurry today. Actually it's just my lunch break and I'm just listening to X & Y now while doing this. I was really looking forward on listening to Coldplay's new album back then, but havent got the chance to until yesterday. I was struck by the words Chris Martin used on the song "Fix you". Here is a google search for the lyrics. It has more impact to me how Martin sings the song. Makes me want to "cry" or have the feeling of being "Helpless" and at the same time "Feel good" about it because after all we are just human. I'll higlight the words thats has impact on me.
