"My Yamaha G55A Classical Guitar"

The guitar is old but looks alright sine it was given to me by someone who only keeps it and not even played with it. The only problem with it at first is that its dirty fret board and head which includes the tuning pegs and the headstock. This model is the G55A made in Japan by Nippon Gakki Co. Ltd with serial numbers 41008 as shown in the pictures. Since this model is made in the late seventies I thought it would be nice if I sent it to a guitar luthier, which I did because I’m also having a hard time playing it from the 7th fret above. He (Arie of Guitar Hospital) fixed it and cleaned my baby. Now my guitar is in very good condition. All set up and neat and clean. The action is set back to its original state. This baby is great for unplugged sessions.

Sound is really great since the wood is already old. This means the tone is great. This guitar is good for unplugged sessions. Great for “drinking sessions ” too.
Action, Fit, & Finish: 7
The finish is a standard Yamaha polish. Glossy finish if I may add. The action is already back in its standard position since I sent it for restoration or what I call “tune up”. The guitar is a standard classical guitar great for playing classical music. The frets have no inlays. The inlays are white dots placed on top of the neck. I keep it in a gig bag that is quite durable.
Reliability/Durability: 9
This baby is very durable. It lasted for so long and with care and proper maintenance, I think this baby will last.

This guitar is a real beauty! With the inlays of the tuning keys and headstock, plus the great sound, this is one heck of a guitar.

“Weekends”
It was an amazing weekend for me.
Friday – It was a busy day for me at the office. I was also tied in finishing my report for my studies, but then again I managed to fulfill them by the end of the day. My friend Eric called me up and wanted to go out with his cousin Joni from Greece. I took a short nap and woke up by a phone call from Eric asking if I still want to go because Joni backed out. I said yes. And oh it’s also Friday the 13th. So we finally decided to go to the usual. Danny’s Grill of course. I met this nice really nice girl through a friend. She was fascinating and I would like to know more about her. But here is the problem, at that time she was crying because she lost her cell phone from the taxi they got going to danny’s. She still managed to get back his composure even though she is in a difficult situation. I manage to snag a few details about her. She is so nice, cute and interesting if I may say. Hope we got to see each other again very soon. Beauty and brains!

Saturday – I met Anna. Hi Anna! She was a introduced trough a friend. I was calling her Karen for so long but then I realized Anna was her name, hahaha! So damn funny. Anna was fun to be with. I wonder how she does it, going out without even drinking even a single drop. One Ice tea please! She was a hottie that night, men tried everything just to have a chance of getting to know her. Funny thing is she has a boyfriend. But what amazed me is that she makes sure that I was not being left off because some guy is asking her. I heard her telling the guy who is asking his number “sorry I’m with him e!” Amazing isn’t it! To Anna’s BF, your so damn lucky. It’s like the song of Itchy worms “akin ka na lang”. Hahaha! She was really nice. Some pictures were taken, but I think it should remain unpublished, for now. Maybe in the future, I’ll post it somewhere.

"The year that was 2005"
This is late of course, but what the heck, Last year was a good year and hoping for a better one this year. Things may not seem to be I wanted them to be, but it all adds up to me now. Hmmm. So what happened last year?
January – A fine start. I had a wonderful time this month. I’ve shared something very special to someone very dear to me that time. It was really a wonderful thing to start the year.
February – Yeah, I’ve finally made up my mind and spend some cash for this wonderful Marshall amplifier that I’ve always wanted to have even when I was just a kid. This was really memorable, the morning I bought the Marshall guitar amplifier, I lost my wallet together with my P3000 and some ID’s. This month. Carlito came from the US for a vacation. Lots gimmick every weekend. As seen on my blogs and pictures.
March – Lots of things happened at work. So many things to do since it’s the end of a school year.
April – Holy week, actually the holy week is on the last week of March but decided to put it here. No out of town with the barkada this year. I just spent the Holy week at my cousins in Novaliches. On the last week, Letran went to Ravens Resort in Abucay Bataan for the annual Outing. I had a blast on that over night outing, everybody got drunk and some got wasted. Food and drinks are overflowing. Hope they could surpass this event this year.
May – A very devastating month for me. Acel, my GF that time broke up with me. Nuff said. There are things better not spoken / or written that is. But if you want details, Holler me. Let’s get drunk and talk about it! Move on… is the term… I’ll just leave this chapter of my in an ellipsis… You’ll never know
June – I need to get busy so I started to push my self a little further. I need to forget eh! I pursued my Masteral degree and currently taking it until now, I had an additional teaching load (one Subject only) in college. Naks Sir Ton2x na talaga ako. Tonyo’s Bday, As usual Lots of drinking and partying. Tonyo always celebrates his birthday for a week. One for every barkada he has. This month I've met Marty Friedman, former lead guitarist of Megadeth.
July - Lots of birthday celebrants on this month. It’s my b-day too, but I didn’t celebrate until the first week of August. I was lonely you know. So I didn’t really planned for my b-day.
August – Celebrated my b-day with a few friends, friends I don’t even know. I think It’s Only Tonyo and Cheng and some of Chengs friends from ACS. This month I got HB. As in High Blood Pressure. After a series of test, they found out that I was high in Cholesterol and I’m obese. Obese one to be exact. So I started going on a diet. As in Healthy diet.
September – Most of the time were spent in Letran Abucay, Bataan. I was there every week. I was tasked to help in their library collection. It was fun! It was a 3 hr. road trip at first but after a few travels it was like a short trip to Quiapo. Food was great there too!
October – Last and final trip to Letran Bataan, I think! More activities at work. I loose a couple of kilos. I’m beginning to loose weight. The picture of Me and Marty Friedman of Megadeth was publish in FHM Philippines, who the hell are you! Very memorable.
November – All saint’s day. Eric got back from his work abroad. Lots of party happened. Gimmick every now and then. Started to meet other people. Wow, I finally understand what I’ve been missing these couple of months. I always tell my self to let go but didn’t really let go, but this time it’s different. Wow, I see clearly now the true meaning of the word “there are lot’s of fishes in the ocean!”
December – Wow Christmas break and lots and lots of drinking and partying and dating. Looks like I’m exhausted in staying late at night going to bars and clubs. There were surely lots of drinking in this month.
So that’s it!
